Growing up in Upstate New York, I always longed for warm and sunny weather year-round. That's why, 9 years ago, my love Brandon and I made a life-changing decision to move to beautiful Florida. Since then, our family has grown to include our adorable 3-year-old son, Maximus, and our lovable pup, Thor. They bring so much joy and keep us happily busy. Life in the Sunshine State truly feels like a dream come true.
I have always been passionate about organization and planning. As a kid, I looked forward to getting my new planner each school year, where I could add personal touches and keep all my important information easily accessible. Numbers and math have always been a strong suit for me – I even majored in Math in college.
One of my favorite quotes is from Maya Angelou: "We delight in the beauty of the butterfly but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty." It resonates deeply with me. I believe in appreciating the journey. When it comes to movies, nothing beats The Notebook for me. I'm a hopeless romantic at heart. While I cook dinner almost every night, I much prefer baking. The joy of creating delicious sweet treats with the perfect blend of science and art is truly satisfying. I also enjoy gardening and crafting - DIY projects bring out my creative side.
